How to start a document, using a template?



All your created templates will display within the ‘Templates’ tab. A document can be started from this Template List view, if you have the required start permission. The following process must be followed, 


  • Click the ‘Start’ button. 

  • Provide a Name and Description for the new process flow. The workflow of the template will be displayed as a preview from your sidebar. 

  • Here you are given the option to ‘Enable Password Protect’ and provide a password for the process flow. 

  • Once you have filled in all the details as required you can click the Next’ button to move on.  

  • Complete the tools which are assigned to you.  

  • You have the option to add Note and Sticky Note tools and attachments as per your need.  

  • Once you have filled in the assigned tools, then select the ‘Next’ button to continue. 

  • Finally, provide your user account password to finish the process. 


The started document should be in the next user’s Z-Vault Inbox baskets and your Inbox basket accordingly.
